On October 18^th, FIPFA was invited to attend the Youth Russian Olympics in Moscow. This FIPFA delegation traveled with the specific purpose of introducing Powerchair Football to this country. A Montauban Handisport player was the starting point of this project and additionally, his club sent players and staff to assist FIPFA in their efforts promoting the sport.

On 15th August eight players representing EPFA/FIPFA started their journey across to Ireland. Players from Newcastle, Sunderland, London, Essex and Cornwall all went to this event.

After a long journey, the players and support staff arrived safely at Limerick University. After being provided with a meal and after a couple of drinks, everyone decided it was time to call it a night, ready for the early start the following morning. (more…)
